Summary: | 碩士 === 國防大學政治作戰學院 === 社會工作碩士班 === 97 === ABSTRACTMilitary police is a unit which performs particularity, law enforcement, honor and professional services. Every member of the unit plays a very important role. However, before serving in the military police unit, they were just usual and ordinary people for the duty of general social service obligations. What kind of power could make them grow up and act in concern with expect of their own unit in a short time? Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate the process of “military socialization” of these military police soldiers. Our approach adopts in qualitative research and collects all the information by "in-depth interview". By analyzing the collected information, we can represent the feelings of respondents and the educational meaning of “subject”. The participants of this research are divided into three classes. According to the different aspects of them, the inner feelings during the process of “military socialization”and the educational meaning of “subject” are explored. Three classes are:1. Play the“Object”in the role of the soldiers (junior soldier).2. Play both the “Object” and“Subject”in the role of the two soldiers (between junior and senior).3. Play“Subject”in the role of the soldiers ( senior soldier).As a result, the“military socialization”is a dynamic process; the soldiers in every stage of the role will have different feelings with the change. After understanding the feelings and changes of these military soldiers, we can combine their processes of "military socialization". Finally, to achieve the contribution for the training and educational policy of military police soldier, our study makes the following recommendations:One of those facilities should be of concern to persons affected by the“role-playing”on the ability to adapt. Second, organization of senior soldier the“moralization of moral character the means”to determine their“sense of achievement”of high or low.Keywords: military socialization, ethics of military status, military organization, total institution
