| Summary: | 碩士 === 實踐大學 === 家庭研究與兒童發展學系碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to research the situation and influence of the self-disclosures and premarital commitment of single male engineers. The quantification of questionnaires is adopted, using ”self-disclosures scale” and ”premarital commitment scale”. Single male engineers in Taiwan, who are 26~40 years old, are the samples, total 227 effective questionnaires. Results of the questionnaires were further analyzed using t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple linear regressions. Main outcome concluded from this study are as follow:
1.Single male engineers incline to be self-disclosed to their partners.
2.Single male engineers incline to make commitments.
3.The younger engineers, the more disclosed self-image.
4.Single male engineers who have master degree will be more” outage disclosed than who have junior college diploma.
5.The longer dating time, he will be more willing to interact with his partner and express his external performance comfortably.
6.He who has sexual relationships with his partner is more willing to disclose himself than who has no sexual relationship with his partner, especially in external performance and individual opinions.
7.The longer dating time, the higher premarital commitment.
8.All items of self disclosure correlate with premarital commitment obviously.
9.Individual background and self disclosure could anticipate premarital commitment.
Besides, according to the result, this research will provide some suggestions for the workers and further researchers.
