Description
Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 青少年兒童福利研究所 === 97 === Abstract The 133 sample in this study are fourth graders in the researcher''s class. The teaching method, Mapping Model method, is used in classroom teaching in order to find the correlation between the characteristics of the sample and the Mapping Model teaching method. The following variables of the respondents are considered in the study: gender, academic achievement of liberal arts subjects, and academic achievement of nature and life science subjects, communication ability, cognition style, and past learning experience of the Mapping Model. The data were analyzed by the numerical distribution, percentage, T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression. It illustrates that all the variables show significant differences exupt all the variables. Except past learning experience of the Mapping Model variable. Some suggestions can be drawn from the study: 1. Teachers should provide various guidance to meet the individual differences among the students, to arouse the awareness of the’easy’ and ''useful'' Mapping Model. 2. Related Educational organizations should promote the Mapping Model teaching method by convening educational experts to further modify the teaching model. 3. Related social welfare organizations should apply the Mapping Model method to after-school class teaching, to increase students'' learning interest. Through the interview, some respondents have difficulty with the Mapping Model teaching method. However, the majority of the students consider the Mapping Model teaching method as beneficial to their learning. In conclusion, the Mapping Model teaching method is worth being widely adopted.
