碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 國際企業管理研究所 === 97 === The competition for banking is becoming increasingly fierce. However, the reactions offered another perspective on strategy from the competitors. This thesis adopted Venkataraman, Chen& MacMillan (1997) model. The research method is Event History Analysis (EHA) and in statistics linear regression was used for longitudinal data. The results indicated that the responses are affected by the (1) bank size, (2) visibility and (3) complexity.
