Although in 2003, the Taiwanese government started conducting na-tional tests to issue certificates for professional tour leaders, professional tour leaders still lacks respects from the society. This research discusses how tour leaders recognize their cognition of professionalism. Successful execution of a project exerts confidence that leads to self-efficiency. When one lacks confidence on his/her work, pressure and fatigue develops easily and they lead to unsatisfaction. Thus, whether an employee gains well-being from work de-termines the employee’s efficiency, productivity and turnover rate. How satisfy an em-ployee is deeply affects a firm’s competitiveness and continuous operation. Thus, this research seeks the relation between cognition of professionalism, job self-efficiency and well-being in the professional field. Taipei city is the main investigation of this research, because the research subject is tour leaders who work in Taipei. This research adopts the convenient sampling. Finally, 450 questionnaires were issued in total, and 336 questionnaires were collected. However 308 questionnaires were valid due to 28 answering imcompleted questionnaires. The effective recovery is 68.44%. After the survey of all questionnaires, SPSS12.0 is used for the data analysis. The statistics used involved descriptive statistics, item analysis, reliability analysis, correla-tion analysis, ANOVA and regression analysis. As the result, the relation of the cognition of professionalism is better, the well-being will also get better; the relation of the job self-efficacy is better, the well-being will also get better for tour leaders; the relation of the cognition of profes-sionalism is better, the job self-efficacy will also get better.
