碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 戲劇研究所 === 97 === “The Scene Under the Surface” is a screenplay with duration of about 80-90 minutes. It’s a flashback story talking about a man, with borderline personality disorder, his desire and disillusion for love, and about all the people around him. The name of the play “The Scene Under the Surface” is derived from the leading role’s job in metro station underneath. His inside world is dark and turmoil so that people find it difficult to get close to. My creative report displays how the play is born-out and what my creative concept is. In order to help readers understand the meaning of the play, as well as the conflict in the leading role’s heart. I also describe the way that the play is told, and what the theory bases of psychology are used.
