Similar phenomenon for globalization has occurred to somewhat different extent in almost every country and industry around the world. At the time of Financial Crisis as today, it is strongly realized that we are living in the ”Global Village”. Facing the impact from globalization, however, Taiwan is not included in the many ranking studies of globalization because of some political reasons. Consequently, the current state and related constructs regarding globalization in Taiwan may not be examined. The purpose of this study was to measure, evaluate and compare the globalization extent for 104 countries including Taiwan in the Economic、Political、Social constructs using KOF index of Globalization. Moreover, the Multidimensional Scaling method was applied to position all countries in the study based on the overall globalization extent measured. The current state and future trend in globalization for Taiwan relative to other countries were examined and recommended. The findings can benefit the governors of different levels and organizations as well as the industrial managers in effective decision making for related strategies in globalization.
