To date, the traditional reconstruction industry in Taiwan is still at the developing stage. Although it does exist and have impacts on the social daily life, the related laws and regulations are not available. Consequently, it will be helpful for traditional reconstruction to develop a more structured operation business model. By Doing so will not only build a fundamental operation strategy, but also guide the industry toward a more health developing direction. This study under takes a case study for Master Teng’s health center. The data is collected by interviewing the senior managers and employees. The SWOT analysis technique is used to derive the research findings that could be as an operation reference for the industry. The major findings of this study suggest that: (1) better use the strength ─ develop brand, well train employees, and define competitive price; (2) amend their weakness ─ lower varied cost (e.g. electricity and water) by analyzing management strategy, join the social insurance system, and reduce employee turnover rate; (3) debar the threats ─enlarge customer source for the disappearance of middle-customer in M-type society and look for an effective strategy against the low-price competitors; and (4) hold potential opportunities ─ reinforce government making related laws, initiate collaboration with tourist and leisure industry for the coming large three-link transportation, and frequently participate in the social welfare functions. Discussion and managerial implications are also addressed. Chien-hsing Wu 吳建興 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 63 zh-TW
