Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 97 === The purpose of this research is to develop an automated equipment for measuring the web thickness of a micro-drill and to reduce runout error by the new measuring method. The automated measuring equipment’s structure is composed of a laser measurement system, a motion control module, a mechanical module and a program module. A Laser micro gauge and a laser confocal displacement meter are used to measure the micro drill’s out-diameter and the distance from the cutting edge to the web. An automatic clamp device is used to take micro-drills loading and unloading. Then the web thickness of a micro-drill can be analyzed by laser measurement system. It is shown that the measurement performances of the automated measuring equipment, such as: accuracy, flexibility, personnel cost and inspection time and greatly improved.
