The single-lens Infra-Red (IR) camera is 2D sensing element and it can’t detect the information of height, therefore we use binocular Infra-Red (IR) camera to capture the information of position to improve identification processing with coordinates conversion to construct the three-dimensional space position of the players' footstep. In the embedded system with ARM base, the target dance-step position will be prompted in the game screen and then the players will track the target position to go ahead the content of game. In the manufacture of target dance-step information, such as the artificial method, the process will be very complicated and liable to error. In this thesis, therefore, we develop a motion capture system to record the dancers’ footsteps of target dance step position.
