Due to the demand for mobile devices and products which have LCD panel are still growing up, so such as lux sensor (visible light sensor) will start more popular in this application field in the future. The main function of visible light sensor is to provide environment light intensity information to ASIC in order to adjust panel brightness dynamically. In this research, the main purpose is to evaluate and study the feasibility of visible light sensor (400~700nm) which is using photo transistor die.
