Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 97 === This thesis studied and designed the printed antennas for Taiwan DVB-T systems (530MHz~596MHz). In order to fit the frequency band of Taiwan DVB-T system, the feeding mode used microstrip-line structure and the antenna types included monopole antenna and meander-line antenna. In the monopole antenna part, the required antenna size was determined by utilizing the antenna theory and then simulated by HFSS and analyzed to accomplish all requirements. However the oversized area of the monopole antenna is the main disadvantage. The method of minimization of antenna size adopted in this thesis is the meander-line method. A single bend results in resonance frequency shifting to higher frequency. Besides, different meander lengths provide different resonance frequencies and the multi-resonance characteristic increases the effective bandwidth to conform the application requirements. Antennas for Taiwan DVB-T system were accomplished on FR4 boards and tested in no echo room.
