Further more, this study analyzes not only five-year operating and financial performance, but the marketing recognition toward case study companies before and after the demerger. This study also supplements with data of industry peers for comparison so as to understand whether the demerger strategies of case study companies achieve their preset goals. The conclusion is as follows: 1. By observing the operating of these two companies,we could view their strategies as successful cases . 2. By observing the two cases in this research, we find that the more independent demerged and transferee companies are of each other, the better they perform. 3. The simplified provisions for the transferee company in a demerger to complied with applying for listing do help a company exercise its strategy and maintain its human resources.
