碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 97 === With its extensive usage in animation, Clothes Simulation’s two most discussed issues are its accuracy and efficiency. From my observation of the special physical properties of clothing, and with the usage of existing software as my testing tool, the purpose of my research is to analyze the accurate settings and functions necessary to achieve the desired simulation effect. Through my sample case demonstrations, the parameters and rendering speeds all have been recorded, as well as the clothes simulation effects. By studying these information, my goal is to identify the most efficient simulating method for this technique, so that it can be used as further reference for 3D animators interested in learning more in this area.
