| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 版畫藝術研究所 === 97 === "Poetic space" is created by my personal space, gathering the incomplete fragment memories of the past through remembrance and imagination. I use collage, overlapping to constitute and present true-self.
As creation is a way of understanding oneself, pondering how past experiences have accumulated to form one’s present self and seeking past experiences and feelings can be used by one as nutrition for creation, derived from images of past memories, imagination, and the union of feeling and intellect to present the imaginary reality.
In this essay, the introduction is the first chapter, the motivation from the beginning of creation, the purpose of discussing about creation, methods and terminology. Chapter two is the academic foundation, from Freud on the theory of memory as a starting point to explore the relationship between the memories and true self, and the era of surrealism and collage methods which impact on me for the inspiration of self-creation and develop of a creative context on the concept of space. The third chapter will analyze artworks which content including creative ideas, creative forms and media, while explaining a series of artwork. The fourth Chapter interprets my artworks. Conclusion is the final part, including the creation of the work experience influencing on personal meaning, with the possibility of developing work in the future.
