A great creative could pass the message of essence and feature, and the creative needs to present through technics that shows prefect form. Both of them can not work out with alone. According to research of investigative result, to estimate a design project that creative and technic are two major targets. The teachers of design department should have more education experiences to discover problems of senior high schools’ design department: students could not explore the idea and creative in logo design, they usually can not catch the main idea and its spirit. They only work on their own judgment; they even can not corporate well with colors and forms, which is not appropriate the theme. On the other hand, it is common to see works without control in creative (idea) and form (skill).
Therefore, this research uses “content analysis” first, after collecting all the information of logo design, using by “creative and skill teaching experiment” to work on the project to prove the investigating of effectiveness.
As the result prove that, using “ creative and skill” way to guide student’s design project that shows students can make easy to handle all the elements such as theme, creative, form, color and over all looks. The investigating shows three points following below:
1.Catching theme quickly and easily
During teaching process shows “creative and skill way”, especially on theme part, students point that: after understanding project’s background , concept and through the brainstorming step, students can catch theme, and reflect their design to be simple and experiences.
2.Clearing color and form
students can sharing their creative, colors and forms through brainstorming, and then using skills to present projects, that could enhance creative and skill for students’ control ability. Also can rise up the effect of logo design.
3.Structure teaching system
This research represents “creative and skill” way. First, it has to deal with “concept”, to emphasis on theme’s creative and explore. Second, it has to make up a “structure”, to focus on “abstract thought” that could develop how to organize and turn out to be a form and colors. Final, to be a “visual”, use skills forming a project. The “creative and skill” way provides reference of design rules for teaching and estimate.
Finally, the research result will prove for reference of teaching guide, estimation.
