| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 美術學系 === 97 === This thesis focuses on Wang, I-Hsin’s series of creations. I translates the life experience into a private creatig form with the content of emotion and memories. It reveals the inner reaction with the deformity and disease in past. As the process repeats constantly and consciously, it provides the inner awareness and spiritual therapy.
For a long time, the subject of body is always significant for the artists in the west, particular after 1960-70. First I find the questions in the history of art to survey the connection between deformity and artists. Second I attemper to emerge the spiritual of creations for respondence. Deformity and disease images in my creations just like melancholy inner. My creations will bear and cure infinite in the moment. Third to research the association between deformity and hospital. Unusually, the space in the hospital do not have any human being. Beside appearing lots of imprisonment images, gloomy room symbolizes mother’s womb furthermore. Finally resurgence of deformity is in order to create opportunity and advance limitless.
