Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學研究所 === 97 === This investigation continues Clanet’s study 【23】to see whether the classic theory can be used in micro scale water jets. The work is an experimental investigation of fluid sheets flow generated by laminar water jets impacting solid discs in atmosphere environment. The main work can be divided into three parts: (1) Whether classic theory can be used in micro scale water jets (2)The effect of gravity on the water bells (3)The effect of surface tension The results reveal that (1)classic theory can be used in micro scale water jets. (2)the effect of gravity can not be negative in the formation of water bells. (3)the effect of surface tension is a important characteristic in the shapes of water bells
