Base on the IDT, the effects of vitamin E with levothyroxine and New Xiang Ru San with Mai Men Tong were evaluated. Results as follow: complete blood count (0%, 0 of 9), serum biochemistry (0%, 0 of 9), plasma epinephrine concentration examination (0%, 0 of 5), plasma total T4 concentration (11.1%, 1 of 9), intradermal injecting test (100%, 9 of 9), the histopathology of the skin sample to examine the sweat gland conformation (33.3% to 88.9%, 3 of 9 to 8 of 9), and evaluate the water transportation of the sweat gland cells by immunohistochemistry staining (66.7%, 6 of 9).
