Purposes: 1.To compare the competitive patterns of National and International badminton men`s single competitions. 2.To compare the effect of shots with victory or defeat players. 3.To calculate the winning rate of badminton men`s single competitions. Method: A total of 12 matches(26 sets) including the matches of the 2007 National Athletic Games and 12 matches(26 sets) from important International competitions 2007 were calculated. Matches were recorded stroke by stroke using computerized notational analysis. Independent t test, test of homogeneity of proportion, one-way MANOVA and stepwise regression method were utilized for analyze, with significance level set at p<.05.
