Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 兒童文學研究所 === 97 === Jinpachi Mori and the cartoonist Osamu Uoto's collaboration 《家栽の人》, which has received praise and recommendation around the world since its 1988 publication in Taiwan, is a cartoon rich in the knowledge of social psychology. The work centers around Judge Yoshio Kuwada of the family court and examines the dilemmas faced by modern families and youth. This thesis uses the combined lenses of juvenile crime and the effect of Japanese culture on youth to discuss juvenile delinquency in the work. In addition, the thesis will also present some perspective and thoughts pertaining to the related issues of dropouts and sexual transaction. The text objectively portrays the various cases and underlying causes of juvenile delinquency. Additionally, the authors posit that officials should discard their bureaucratic attitudes and genuinely try to find the best solution for the juveniles, instead of isolating them from society. The work shows the caring nature of the authors and pushes its readers to think about how to face these social issues. Law and botany are used throughout the work and the authors cleverly analogize botany and growth to human issues. It doesn't preach and doesn't involve sex or violence – thus, the text should be considered by those interested in teaching law or creating works on related subjects as an excellent example.
