After the educational policies were loosened, school conductors had to change their management styles to establish their own characteristics and enhance school competitiveness, instead of following the standard school administrative operation modes set by the educational administration. The seven schools of Nanau Township in Yi-lan County had been working on strategic alliance for many years. Through the cooperative activities like curriculum developments, conversations between administrative staff, filed trips and teacher’s professional growth, the close partnership between the seven schools had been strongly established. In addition to offering a way to make good use of the resources from each school, this type of alliance also helped each school to improve the difficult situation of developing alone with limited resources. In this study, the concept of strategic alliance development was discussed first. Then, the current situations of the strategic alliance in the seven elementary schools of Nanau Township were introduced. Finally, the satisfaction levels towards the strategic alliance from the teachers in the seven schools of Nanau Township were shown according to the data from the questionnaire survey. 1、the overall satisfaction level towards the strategic alliance from the elementary school teachers reached the medium-high place. 2、The elementary school teachers of different ages showed a significant difference on the satisfaction level towards the anticipative objective achievement of the strategic alliance. The teachers over 51 were more satisfied than those between 31 to 40. 3、The elementary school teachers with different positions and ages showed significant differences on the satisfaction level towards the process of carrying out the strategic alliance. (1) The elementary school teachers with different positions showed a significant difference on the satisfaction level towards the process of carrying out the strategic alliance. The teachers in charge of the administrative positions were more satisfied than the homeroom teachers. (2) The elementary school teachers of different ages showed a significant difference on the satisfaction level towards the process of carrying out the strategic alliance. The teachers over 51 were more satisfied than those between 31 to 40 and those between 41 to 50 respectively. 4、The elementary school teachers with different backgrounds didn’t show any significant difference on the satisfaction level towards the school efficiency improvement of the strategic alliance. 5、The elementary school teachers of different ages showed a significant difference on the overall satisfaction level towards the strategic alliance.
