The research result was based on learning progress before and after the science curriculum of millet, and with the scale for quantitative and qualitative analysis. The result showed that the content of science curriculum of millet in Paiwan could significantly facilitate indigenous children’s cultural awareness, attitude, and the increase of emotional expression as well. Children apparently performed best in indigenous food, traditional custome and antiques through the scale。 It is significant that the science curriculum could promote children’s concept formation of millet through「Children learn concepts of plant millet single test」in pretest and post-test. It could also discover the change of children’s cognition of millet through the painting of millet by them.
