Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 會計學系 === 97 === This research is to study the decisive factors for an OTC trading company to turn into public listed company. By analyzing the companies successfully turned their stocks from OTC trading to Public Listing and those who are qualified between 1995 and 2004 in the aspects of funds demand, R & D, Concentration of shareholding, Profitability, Growth, Scale, Age, Industry and the review system to see if difference in any one or more aspects are interpretable to the decision of OTC-Turn-Public Listing, so as to infer the decisive factors in their going public.
Furthermore, the qualification and conditions for going public of OTC trading are compared with the samples of companies not intended for public listing. Result of the research indicated that the funds need, growth, simplified review system are having positive effect on OTC trading companies to turn on public listing. They will select the timing to turn into public listing where the profitability is better, and company of smaller scale has higher incentive in turning into public listed; however, the ages of the companies are not affecting the decision of going public.
