Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 國民教育學系碩士班 === 97 === This study used traditional classics, Chuang-tzu’s fables, for life education teaching in order to understand the influences on pupil's life attitudes.
One third grade class of an elementary school located in Yilan city has been chosen to carry out an action research. Depth-interviews, observation, document analysis, and research diary had been employed to realize the impact upon pupils.
The results of this study were as follows:
1. In teaching aspect, through media-using and roles-playing for life education by Chuang-tzu’s fables can develop multiple life attitudes of pupils.
2. In the life attitude influence aspect, (1) the Chuang-tzu’s fable utilized in the life education teaching assisted the pupils to reduce the fear of death. (2) It assisted the pupils pondering in the “relative” position to reduce the disputation. (3) Pupils can explore their own strength from different angles.
3. Transformation aspect among the teacher and pupils, the teacher-pupil relationship has been improved. In addition, the pupils can draw the resources of fable in to their daily lives.
4. In terms of context , the Chuang-tzu’s fable utilized in the life education teaching may inspire the cherish of local knowledge.
Based on the result of this study, some conclusions and recommendations for teachers and future studies were made in the last part of this paper.
