As the Internet grow up rapidly and the present of e-learning. Users, which take advantage of using Internet to associate with learning behavior, had become more and more normally. Most of e-learning are represented mainly with web pages, online chats, and blogs. However, during the process of designing a game, which would involve with much discussion about Gaming conception, programming logic, music, sound and graphic. Nonetheless, learners using these representations often encounter with the difficulty that certain terms or keywords require further explanation or clarification. Annotations have been used as a support for learning, and thus can be conducted with manual writing or post-it. However, these traditional ways as annotations are unable to share with others who may also require explanation. Neither, are the contents of annotations unable to annotate if necessary. Furthermore, manual writing or post-it could cause the layout of the paper unorganized or even disrupted. Therefore, this paper intends to develop a web annotation tool that is focused to match the need of game design and can be used by multi-users at the same time. Opposed to traditional annotations, learners not only annotate subject or keywords, but also raise concern or questions at certain annotation done by others. Participants can provide inputs for discussion upon certain annotation. This discussion can be freely conducted and eventually shown in a hierarchical tree. Discussion of certain annotation is displayed in terms of web pages, which allow learners to insert new material or involve in new topic. And, these can also be read and annotated by all participants to enhance the breadth and depth of discussion so as to function to support online collaboration learning. Currently, this research focuses on experimenting with an online game-learning platform. Users of this platform include students in the departments of Toy and Game Design, Information Science and Digital Technology Design in the National Taipei University of Education. The feedback and survey from their use will be investigated and assessed to use as a basis for future improvement. Fan Ping-Lin 范丙林 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 118 zh-TW
