Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育政策與管理研究所 === 97 === The study aims to investigate the current situations, the differences, and the relationship of the life stress on students in university from different backgrounds in Northern Taiwan who anticipate that mainland China students study in Taiwan. With self-compiled “Questionnaire of the life stress on students in university who anticipate that mainland China students study in Taiwan.” The survey uses the method of proportional allocation, and the sampling is based on the proportion of total students in 29 colleges.1000 college students were selected as sample subjects and given a questionnaire survey. From the random sampling, 937 were valid for the study. The statistics methods including descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and the Structural Equation Modeling were employed to analyze in data processing. Several conclusions have been obtained as follows:
1.The degree of students’ life stress was high situations. The students’ scores on “stress of economy” and “stress of ideology” were the highest, and the students’ scores on “stress of self” were the lowest.
2.The differences of the life stress on students in university from different background variables who anticipate that mainland China students study in Taiwan.
(1)Female students' scores on the stresses of school, fairness, economy, self, and the whole were higher than male students’.
(2)The degree of public university students’ stress of fairness scored high. The degree of private university students’ stress of culture, economy, self, and the whole also scored high.
(3)The degree of students’ stress of fairness in Taipei City and Country was higher than Keelung City.
(4)Science division students’ scores on the stress of fairness were higher than liberal arts and engineering division students’. Agriculture division students’ scores on the stress of fairness were higher than engineering division students’.
(5)Students’ scores in the third grade on stress of fairness were higher than students’ in the first grade.
(6)The degree of students have once gotten along with foreign students were higher situations on the stress of fairness. The degree of students have not gotten along with foreign students were higher situations on the stress of culture and economy.
(7)Students who have not been to mainland China were higher than students that have been to mainland China on stress of school, culture, ideology, economy, and the whole.
3.The structural equation modeling of the life stress showed public, private, and whole students in university anticipate that mainland China students study in Taiwan has effect between diverse aspects of life stress.
