Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 數學暨資訊教育學系(含數學教育碩士班) === 97 === This study was to review the Development of Mathematic Curriculum for Elementary Education in 1993, which built the infrastructure of mathematic curriculum based on the well-known Constructivism. This study applied the qualitative method of oral history to interview the chairman of 1993 Mathematic Curriculum Committee. Information drawn from literature and interview on another expert of mathematics education was included in analysis to enhance the study validity. Narrative analysis method was used to analyze the interview content regarding the chairman’s perception, cognition and feedback to the process and development of 1993 new mathematic curriculum. The results of analysis on this oral history were presented in terms of eight development stages: (1) Seed—new education philosophy, (2) Root—theoretical foundation, (3) Sprout—committee initiation and planning, (4) Growth--design of new curriculum, (5) Branch—pilot and implementation, (6) Wither—challenge and frustration, (7) Blossom—significant contribution, and (8) New life—expectation and prospect. Based on the analysis, the researcher made the conclusions on this oral history and provided suggestions for future research.
