Using the discourse context of story telling after watching cartoon films, the current study obtained language samples from 10 asperger children and their peers. Then, these language samples were analyzed based on story structure and story content characteristics. Overall, the results found in this study were concluded as follows: 1.Children with asperger syndrome had produced significantly less than their peers in ‘setting’, ‘initiating event’, ‘internal response’, ‘outcome’. 2.There was no significant correlation between oral narrative ability and oral comprehension, FSIQ, VIQ, PIQ in children with asperger syndrome. 3.Discriminant analyses showed that the story structure component of‘setting’ had 80% probability to distinguish asperger children from their peers. 4.The narrative style of asperger children included mazes, overturn of subject, special tone, deviation from the theme, lack of causal statement, weak in episode coherence and poverty of mental state of the roles’ affections.
