The research methodologies on the qualitative methods and the quantitative data are used to verify the performance of creativity of the participants. Participants in this study are eight students who are two boys and six girls in the classroom of YAMAHA. Participants will experience the GMT program during 11 weeks. The creativity is verified by the proposed researching tool, Test of Creative Thinking (TCT), used for the participating students in the beforehand test and the afterward test respectively. The beforehand test is taken before starting the GMT program for the basic scores of the participating students, and the afterward test for evaluating the improvement of creativity. The produced results (i.e., the scores) are analyzed by the qualitative methods such as the classroom observation, questionnaire and interviews. The research results show: (1) the GMT program increases the scores of children on TCT; (2) the GMT program raises the motivation of learning music for children. Based on the results, the GMT program indeed improves the creativity of children. Finally, the paper provides the suggestions for future teaching and researching.
