Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 教育研究所 === 97 === The purpose of this research is to explore the results and the effectiveness of guided writing educational project to enhance the writing skills of elementary students. This research contains guided writing activities specifically aimed at sixth graders which are twenty-seven students in a class in Keelung City Elementary Schools. To conduct the teaching program of guided writing, the program is divided into three teaching levels which total 12 periods of teaching activities. Each period lasts 80 minutes. It involves planning, executing, and measuring steps throughout the project. The researchers use multiple ways to collect data through the teaching diaries, surveys, student portfolios, student profiles, student checklists (summative checklists of guided writing), records from collaborative teachers, records of primary teachers, records of videos, feedback from parent, etc. Based on the findings, researchers reviewed and adjusted the content of teaching. Then the researchers conducted the complete action research. The findings of the action research are as following: The results of the research are listed as follow: 1. The three writing types of “Combination”, ”Comment of Articles”, “Guided Writing” in the teaching program of guided writing are all effective. 2. The findings of this study of the teaching program of guided writing include the three-level types of teaching activities which are “Combination”, “Comment of Articles” and “Guiding Writing” which in total occurred 12 times. 3. Difficulties to influence the guided writing educational project include incontrollable discipline, insufficient time, inferiority of students' learning willingness, and/or assistance from research collaborators.
