| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 航運管理學系 === 97 === Footwear is an important traditional industry in Taiwan. To face the drastic change by globalization & commercial environment, footwear manufacturers in Taiwan (such as Pou Chen, Ching Luh..etc.) relocated their factories to China & South-East Asian nations from Taiwan for getting cost competition advantage and it caused great change in industrial structure. Furthermore, Taiwan government allowed footwear imported into Taiwan from China after joined WTO. It caused footwear manufacturer become a setting sun industry.
This thesis adopts a case study method to probe into the application of global logistics management in multi-country footwear industry. To explore global logistics management of multi-country footwear industry and further understand multi-country footwear industry how to make use of global logistics management to conduct quick response, to meet customer demand, to deliver the cargo in time, to reduce inventory and to reduce cost……etc., through the research for raising the competition advantage of global market. This thesis also provide suggestions for other multi-country footwear industry or other industry.
