In order to request of life is increasing trend of turning to slope land for further development. However, there are increasing cases of slope land disasters, partly due to the vulnerable geology and the unsuitable development and utilization by human. In recently, the hazard of slope land is causing by typhoon induced storm rainfall. With an average of 3.5 typhoons per year hit Taiwan area, it could be caused the hazard of slope land such as landslide, stability and debris flow. In this study, the effects of the typhoons on Taipei’s neighboring Xindian city are collected that occurred from 1996 to 2008 to evaluate the effects of rainfall on the hill side development projects. By studying the analysis of rainfalls on sloping ground, it is possible to understand the possibility of instability of the region that can be caused by the typhoon. The program of SEEP/W which Geo-Studio of procedure subprogram is used to evaluate the slope rainfall induced seepage analysis, to simulation of the destruction of the slope by a maximum rainfall storm. It is appear relevant groundwater pore-pressure behind the number value to ask, and combine with another procedure SLOPE/W analyze. The slope steady safety coefficient could be obtained to study the nature slope stability. From the analysis results indicated that the rainfall infiltration is an important factor for slope stability analysis by time increments. Apply the program we know the change of safety coefficient obviously at a later period of typhoon. On the other hand, the degression method of value C is used to compare with the safety values shown that with a decrease in 10%, the safety factor could be decreasing about 3.5%.
