The research using purposive sampling surveyed six schools was distributed to 480 students. Of the 470 valid samples, representing a response ratio of 97.92%, the structured questionnaire included scales such as “Form of Evaluating Academic Stress” (Abouserie, 1994 ; Kohn & Frazer, 1986 ; Kouzma & Kennedy, 2004), “Form of Analyzing Big Five Model of Personality” (Costa & McCrae, 1992), “Form of Evaluating Emotional Eating” (Van Strien, Frijters, Bergers, & Defares, 1986) and “Form of Personal Profile”.The research used t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and hierarchical regression to statistically test and analyze data. According to the researched results, we made following conclusions:1).the emotional eating of junior high school’s students is not prevalent.2). the ninth-grade students showed evident differences on emotional eating compared with seventh-grade ones.3).The result showed the BMI and the frequency of eating outside don’t perform large effect on emotional eating.4).The academic stress, however, shows a positive correlation with emotional eating.5).The “Neuroticism” and partial “Extraversion” of Big Five Model of Personality of junior high school’s student correlates positively with emotional eating. We suggest educator facing students in junior high school with sensitively and to like making friends of the personality characteristic to mitigate their academic pressure , slow down tendency of the emotional eating.
