Simultaneously, the researcher tried to inquire male and female principals in terms of principals themselves and school teachers, so as to know how they view the gender of principal. The study adopted case study on two elementary school principals in Kaohsiung. The data were collected by means of interviews. According to the result of this study, the researcher obtained some conclusions. The main conclusions of this study were as follows: 1.Principal Shan-Her actively introduces stimulations and resources, plus combines the local specialties with his visual artistic talent, leading school to turn into artistic campus gradually. 2. Principal Shiow-Yuh expands and cultivates school ecological environment using its original resources, as well as implements reading activity and creats comfortable space, so that school integrates ecology and humanity. 3.The leadership of the two principals both present more female leadership traits. That is, the every aspect of leadership style didn’t show obvious differences between genders in this study. 4.Principals and most teachers considered that the style of leaderhip didn’t have anything to do with genders, but that it was connected with charactor and personality. Before contacting with female principals, some interviewees even tend to prefer male principals to manage the school due to sex role stereotypes. Based on the conclusions above, this study provided suggestions for educational administrative agencies, elementary school principals, and future researchers.
