The narrative model and the in-depth interview were applied by the researcher to collect the research data. Through “holistic- content” interpretation of narrative analysis, the researcher generate the conclusions. The finds were that these multiple factors prompt the students to drop out of school. Their negative feelings and thoughts result from the remote relationship, difficulties in the academic frustrations and teacher-student conflicts. When they find out that they could build up their confidence in extracurricular activities, they are tend to become drop-out students to acquire the satisfaction in their life. The dropout students indicated that the life without going to school is boring; however, the school life is painful to them. Therefore, they still prefer not to go to school. However, they have chances to introspect their own life experiences and have powerful motivation to re-enter school. After the police intervention and there are people who care for the dropout students, they could have a turning point of change and action to return school. The reentry students feel they are accepted when their classmates are friendly toward them and take the acceptance from teachers as a tag removal of a bad student. When their talent and skill are appreciated, they have more confidence toward their goal and continuing efforts. In addition, positive experiences from the school change the reentry students’ aspects towards their families. Their internal focus recognition generates active efforts. The researcher makes suggestions for future studies according to this study. none 蔡麗芳 學位論文 ; thesis 192 zh-TW
