Learning is not limited by time and space any more. Students are able to access information or learning materials via the wireless network. In such an innovative learning environment, the learning system can sense the learning context of individual students and provide personal supports accordingly, such that the students can interact with the real-world objects. This study aims to develop a ubiquitous learning system in which students are requested to construct knowledge with Repertory Grid strategy as a Mindtool. Moreover, a web-based collaborative learning system has been developed to assist students to learn collaboratively. A butterfly and ecology learning activity has been conducted for the Nature Science course of an elementary school. Experimental results show that, the students learned with Repertory Grid strategy has better learning achievements than those learn with traditional human tutor-guiding strategy. In addition, collaborative learning strategy is helpful to the students in improving their knwoledge structure and the field independent (FI) students have better performance than those of the field dependent (FD) students. Such results not only show the effectiveness of our innovative approach, but also provide a good reference for learning activity design in the future. Gwo-Jen Hwang 黃國禎 學位論文 ; thesis 98 zh-TW |
