This research attempts to apply mobile learning model onto community learning activity, and investigate the effects of students’ cognitive styles and computer use experience on learning achievements and attitudes of students. Experimental results show that field-independent students have significantly better learning performance and attitudes than those of the field-dependent ones. In addition, students with more computer experiences have better learning attitudes. Therefore, we can conclude that students’ cognitive styles and computer use experience are key elements to the success of mobile learning, which could be the references for designing learning activities in the future.
