Many people are getting to explore the cultural information, but most of cultural information exists only in the form of pictures and pure texts in web sites. Cultural exploring combined with knowledge map and guided environment can form ubiquitous learning processes which experiences the meaning of culture virtually for people. In this study, a Ubiquitous Learning Knowledge Discovery Map (UKDM) system is designed and implemented to enhance learners’ knowledge of culture. The purpose of UKDM system is to extend learning opportunity for learners so as to enhance their own ability of knowledge sharing and accumulation through using handheld devices to visit, discuss, and create knowledge with other learners in different context and situation.
