Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系科技發展與傳播碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of internet rumor online course for children. The researcher conducted nonequivalent-control group design. The subjects were 129 fifth grade students from 4 classes. In the experimental group (composed 65 pupils), students participated in the online course. In the control group (composed 54 pupils), student didn’t accept any similar course. The experimental group took the internet rumor online course,, and the whole experiment period lasted 3 weeks.
In order to realize the changes of students’ knowledge and behavior of internet rumor, the instrument of “Questionnaire of the knowledge and behavior of internet rumor” was conducted to collect the data. Moreover, “Questionnaire of learning satisfaction” was used to collect students’ opinions and comments about the online course. The data were collected and analyzed statistically using methods such as percentage frequency distribution, one-way ANOCVA, chi-square test. The results indicated as follows:
1.After learning internet rumor online course, the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group on the scores of the internet rumor knowledge.
2.In the effect of internet rumor behaviors (including internet rumor belief and internet rumor dealing), the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group in some ways. It means that most of the experimental group students have the ability to judge internet rumor and have better way to deal with internet rumor.
3.After learning online course, experimental groups were satisfied in this online course about website design, learning content, learning activities, learning conditions, and comparing with learning before.
