Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系輔導教學碩士班 === 97 === A procedure is completed to understand the process of Growth group for senior students in elementary school. Eight students of grade 5th are the members of this Growth group, they are classmates. The graduate student is also the leader. There are record and video record in 20 sessions. This study use a qualitative method for data analysis, and there are other Instruments also. Instruments for this study included the Bales’s Interaction Process Analysis, Interaction Diagram, The results were as follows: 1. Negative behaviors were the most popular personal interaction types .No matter their feeling were happy, angry, or embarrass,they present it in the negative way. They could not act in positive way easily,because that would made them shy or regress. 2. Obviously changes of the members include : trying to interact with more other members, and the frequency was higher also. Some members change their communion behaviors(attachment) to agency (independence). 3. The phenomenons of the group: Members act different outside the group, when they talk to the leader alone, they act not so negative as inside the group. Obvious stage change was not found through the whole group process, maybe the only reason is: they are classmates, and the leader is their teacher, they were familiar with eacher other. Based on the results and findings, suggestions and recommendations were made for group counseling work and future.
