Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 輔助科技研究所 === 97 === ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to understand the viewpoint of visual-impairment education teachers towards the importance of one’s professional knowledge of assistive technology service and one’s own equipped ability. The researcher designed a questionnaire entitled ”Visually-Impairment Education Teachers Professional Knowledge Of Assistive Technology Service Study Research.” and used it as the research instrument for this study. A questionnaire was developed to gather information from visually-impairment education teachers, and the effective examples were up to 171 copies. The rate of effective return was 84.6%. Statistical methods such as Descriptive statistics, One-Way ANOVA, T-test were applied to analyze these questionnaires and reach the following results: 1. Most of the visually-impairment education teachers consider the six professional knowledge aptitudes as “important”, but just consider the ability of “Evaluating the needs of visual impaired students in assistive technology “as for “ equipped ”. Other 6 aptitudes are about the “less-equipped” ability. 2. Of the 44 professional knowledge abilities, the visually-impairment education teachers think they are good at “Making enlarge teaching materials and instructing students how to use”. They most lack for the “equipped ability” of “Fixing assistive technology devices basically”, and it is thought most important of all. 3. The itinerant teachers’ ability is superior to the teacher in school for the Visually Impaired in “Providing and marking assistive technology devices of visually-impairment”. 4. The professional knowledge differs with the sex, the male teachers score above male teachers. 5. The professional knowledge differs with the teachers’ prevocational training backgrounds, the teachers ever majored 4~12 degrees and over than 13 degrees about visually-impairment score above below 3 degrees. 6. The professional knowledge differs with the assistive technology training backgrounds, the teachers ever majored degrees in visual-impairment assistive technology score above never majored degrees in any special education assistive technology. The results of this study provide various feasible suggestions and references for educational authorities, teacher cultivating institution, school, Visually-Impairment Education Teachers and future studies.
