Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系課程與教學碩士班 === 97 === The goals of this study were to investigate current situation and difficulties of environmental education teaching in Yulin country executive staff and teachers’view toward environmental education teaching and their difficulties and strategies they took to solve these difficulties. Based on the result of this study, conclusions and suggestions were made to provide reference for improvement for authorities concerned, elementary schools and teachers.
This research adopts text analysis, questionnaires, and interview as study methods. First, related text was collected to investigate the theories and current situation of environmental education . Secondly, a questionnaire survey was conducted among 158 executive staff in charge of environmental education curriculum and teaching in elementary 300 teachers. The result of the survey was analyzed with frequency distribution and percentiles. In addition, by judgmental sampling,6 executive personnel and 12 Environmental Education teachers were interview in order to obtain deeper understanding of Environmental Education teaching in elementary schools.
Based on the result and discussion of the collected data , this study concludes respectively concerning current situation and difficulties of Environmental Education teaching in elementary Schools in Yulin County , executive staff and Environmental Education teachers’view toward Environmental Education teaching and difficulties and strategies adopted. Concerning current Environmental Education teaching ,the aspects discussed include current Situation of executive design, Environmental Education teachers, teaching materials and resources , Environmental Education teaching methodologies, and Environmental Education teaching evaluations .Concerning views toward Environmental Education teaching, the aspects discussed include the views of executive design, the view of Environmental Education teachers , the views of Environmental Education teaching materials and resources , the views of Environmental Education teaching methodologies , and the views of Environmental Education teaching evaluations . Finally , difficulties and responding strategies were set forth concerning the editing of Environmental Education teaching material , the implementation of Environmental Education curriculum , educational administrators and executive units , Environmental Education teachers and overall societal environment respectively .
