To meet the maximum quality with accepted cost, some optimization methods can be used to help practitioners find the solution. This study aims to get Optimum Factor Levels with minimal trial-and-errors so as to provide a better process design for industry. In the study, LED (Light Emitting Diode) product was selected as the topic. We focus on the ITO Electron-beam Evaporator manufacturing process and use Cause-and-effect Diagram to extract the key-factors that dominate the result. Then, Taguchi’s parameter design method is applied to optimize the manufacturing process. Finally, we evaluate and prove the optimum factor levels by confirmation experiments.
