Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教育學系 === 97 === A Study of Teacher Leadership in Taichung City Elementary Schools Abstract This research aims to understand the current situation of teacher leadership in Taichung city elementary schools, and to analyze the reasons that affect teacher leadership. The population of this research consisted of Taichung City teachers. With questionare of “Taichung City Elementary School Teacher Leadership”to undergo sampling investigation, the researcher surveyed 524 elementary school teachers and received 496 copies of valid respondents. The rate of valid samples was 94.66%. Statistical methods used for analyzing the collected data were: descriptive statics, t-test, one-way ANOVA. Subjects of interview research were four Taichung City elementary school teachers, used semi-structural interview. Analysis of the interview data involved recording, transcription, coding, categorization and synthesis. The main findings were: 1. Elementary school teachers’perception of teachere leadership was above average. 2. Elementary school teachers promote students’ achievements constructively. 3. Elementary school teachers’perception of teachere leadership was low in participating school administration. 4. There were significant differences about teacher leadership of teachers’perception based on education degree. 5. There were significant differences about promoting students’ achievements, furthering teachers’knowledge and skills and helping colleagues improving of teachers’perception based on administrative duties. 6. There were significant differences about participating school administration of teachers’perception based on administrative dutie. Finally, based on thosed findings, the research suggests some implications to administrative authorities, elementary principals, and further studies as well. Keywords: teacher leadership
