The total participants were 7 members. They received 11 sessions of group activities, two sessions each week and each session lasting 60minutes. The results of this research were represented in both Quality and Quantity modes. The study used “Self-Esteems Scale”, “Emotion Adjustment for Elementary School Students Scale“ as the assessment tools to conduct pre-test, post-test and follow-up measures. The obtained data were tested with Wilcoxon Test. The researcher conducted analysis of the group process records, the data feedback by the participants and interview data so as to further investigate into the effectiveness of the application of group counseling. The major findings of this study are described as follows: 1. Group-counseling had the significant, immediate effected on enhancing “Self-Efficiency”, “Self-Valued”, “Self-Esteems” , but no follow-up effected for students in a foreign immigrant family at elementary school . 2. Group-counseling had the significant, immediate, and follow-up effected on enhancing “Emotional Expression “, “Emotional Introspection “ for students in a foreign immigrant family at elementary school . 3. Group-counseling had no the significant, immediate, and follow-up effected on enhancing “Emotional Awareness “, “Emotional Efficiency”, “Strategies of Modulation”, “Emotional Adjustment” for students in a foreign immigrant family at elementary school. 4. Group-counseling had the positive effected on the group members. The members hold the positive attitudes toward the overall activities of counseling from the feedbacks and interviews, and considered that the counseling provided help in enhancing their self-esteems and emotion adjustment. Finally, through the results, they provided the references for parents, counselors, and the future groups who manipulate such counseling according to the concrete suggestions based on the results of the experiments. 魏麗敏 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 198 zh-TW
