碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 社會科教育學系碩士班 === 97 === This research is according to the history of development of Chihu’s grapes, estimating if grape industry can combine with tourism industry by anglicizing the potential of tourism, to get more economical benefits. And understand the connection between industry development and residents’ approvals by communicating with the public and private departments. And also propose the suggestions and strategies of future development of combination of tourism industry and local industry. This research analyze the history of the region grape industry development, the history of the grape industry development can divided by three stages, they are: (1) The period of the government policy influence (before 1989), (2) The period of the forming of local characteristic industry (1989 ~2006), (3) The period of the forming of cultural industry(after 2006). Finally, the investigation of tourism potential of region characteristic analysis and residents’ approvals, this research discovers residents are willing to cooperate but not in a positive way. The participants see the grape industry as tools for living, the use of it cannot be replaced by tourism industry, so there are many people who are still observing the tourism policy pushed by the government. Therefore, we may suggestion the public department that before pushing tourism industry, they should get common consensus first, then they will successfully get the economical benefits of industry transformation.
