Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 科學應用與推廣學系科學教育碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this study was to measure the length of elongated bubbles when using different surfactants with water of different rates. Furthermore, we also attempted to compare the cost of all bubble solutions and the duration of bubbles, and explore the influence of the length of bubbles by adding glycerol into bubble solution. Today there are a large variety of surfactants in existence, for this research we mainly used those that are readily available on the market. This study tried eleven surfactants and three different kinds of bubble solution products for comparison, The experiments were performed in an indoor space to avoid the influence of external environment, and notes were carefully taken about temperature and humidity. According to results of the study, we found that: (1) The bubble solution with the best effect for elongating bubbles was the kind that was purchased from a United States company, the cost of the DBN surfactant was lower, and under optimal conditions it was able to make bubbles of an average length of up to 5.5 meters. (2) The correlation between the length of bubbles and the duration of bubbles is not necessarily a positive correlation. (3) It is not necessary to increase the length of bubbles by adding glycerol into the bubble solutions
