Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 體育研究所 === 97 === The purpose of the study was to examine the incidence of eating disorder of fitness instructors, and relationship between perfectionism and eating disorder. The subjects were 82 fitness instructors in Taipei area with mean age of 30.2 years (SD=5.3). After completing consent from, participants were administered with eating attitude scale and multidimensional perfectionism scale. With pearson correlation and t-test statistical analysis, this study found following results:
1.14.3% fitness instructors were identified as disorder eating. The incidence of females is higher than males.
2.Male fitness instructors had higher score than female fitness instructors in “personal standard”, ”doubts about actions”, and “parental expectation” of perfectionism.
3.The perfectionism is not related to eating disorder in fitness instructors.
