Additionally, the doping in it have been analyzed. Experiment was in a double-blind and cross-over designed. Sixteen healthy college students were divided into soybean peptide complex supplementation group (SP) or placebo group (PL) by randomly assignment in study. They took soybean peptide complex supplementation or placebo capsules per day for 14 days. The 14-days washout period followed before the subjects received the alternate supplement. After supplementation all of the subjects performed the exhaustive exercise test on the static bicycle ergometer at the intensity of 75% VO2max until exhaustion. The heart rate, respiratory gas and exhaustion time were recorded during exercise. Blood samples were taken prior to exercise, at 10, 15, 20, 25 min and immediately after exercise. There was no significant difference in heart rate, RER (repiratory exchange ratio), VE (Ventilatory Efficiency), VO2 (oxygen consumption), oxygen pulse, the concentration of glucose and CK (creatine kinase) activity between groups. However, the lactate concentration at 15 min of the exercise period in the SP was lower than in PL (10.4 ± 0.9 vs. 11.2 ± 0.8 mmol/L, p < .05) and the ammonia level at 25 min of the exercise period in the SP was lower than in PL (107.5 ± 13.2 vs. 128.0 ± 12.5 umol/L, p < .05). Additionally, the FFA concentrations at 15, 20 and 25 min of the exercise period in the SP was significant higher than in PL (259.5 ± 28.7, 311.2 ± 42.4, 303.0 ± 51.3 & 350.3 ± 44.2 vs. 209.0 ± 29.4, 243.7 ± 29.4, 231.6 ± 30.1 & 264.8±22.9 umol/L, p < .05). Besides, the soybean peptide complex supplementation enhanced exercise time (30.9 ± 2.1 vs. 28.1 ± 1.7 min, p < .05). We concluded that the body tends to use fat as energy source in exercise after 14-day soybean peptide complex supplementation so that can enhance exercise performance. No WADA prohibit substances where found in soybean peptide complex supplementation. Keywords: free fatty acid, repiratory exchange ratio, doping, oxygen pulse Mei-Chich Hsu Kuei-Hui Chan 許美智 詹貴惠 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 56 zh-TW
